Everything you need to understand the core systems of Blox Fruits, from Devil Fruits and fighting styles to the Three Seas you'll sail through on your way to max level.
Devil Fruits are the heart of Blox Fruits. Eat one and your character gains a unique power, at the cost of being unable to swim. Every fruit belongs to one of three types, and that type decides how you fight.
| Type | What it does | Key trait |
|---|---|---|
| Natural | Versatile powers (fire, ice, light, quake, and more). | Standard fruit with no special defense. |
| Elemental | Logia-style fruits that turn you into an element. | Immune to normal melee unless the attacker has Aura (Buso Haki) or is also Elemental. This immunity also has a level condition. It mainly protects you from players around or below your level; a large level gap can change whether normal attacks land, and you usually need to be past the early levels for immunity to apply. |
| Beast | Zoan-style fruits that let you transform. | Shift between human, hybrid, and full-beast forms for extra mobility and HP. |
Mythical rarity. Beyond the three types above, the strongest fruits carry the Mythical rarity. Dragon, Kitsune, Tiger (formerly Leopard), Dough, and Venom are all Mythical. This rarity sits above normal fruits of the same type, so a Mythical Beast like Dragon is far stronger than a standard Beast. That is why S-tier lists are dominated by Mythical fruits.
Tip: check our Fruit Tier List to see which fruits are strongest for grinding, PvP, and raids.
Blox Fruits splits your loadout into three categories. A strong build balances all three instead of leaning on a single one.
Learned from teachers across the seas, fighting styles are your melee moveset. Popular picks include Dark Step, Electric, Water Kung Fu, Dragon Breath, Superhuman, Death Step, Electric Claw, Sharkman Karate, Dragon Talon, and the late-game Godhuman.
Swords are the primary melee weapons, bought or dropped throughout the game (examples: Saber, Yoru, Shisui, Dark Blade). They pair with your fighting style for close-range pressure.
Guns give you ranged options for poking and combos (examples: Kabucha, Bizarre Rifle, Skull Guitar). Most are obtained through quests or factory and raid events.
Blox Fruits is split into three progression zones. You unlock the next sea by reaching the level cap and completing its quest. Each sea introduces tougher enemies, new fruits, and better raids.
| Sea | Level Range | Highlights |
|---|---|---|
| First Sea | 1 – 700 | The starting world: Starter Island, Jungle, Pirate Village, and your first bosses. Great for learning the basics. |
| Second Sea | 700 – 1500 | Bigger islands, raids, and the Colosseum. Unlocks advanced fruits and fighting styles. |
| Third Sea | 1500 – 2600 (current version) | The endgame: Tiki Outpost, Floating Turtle, and the hardest raids. Home to the strongest fruits and weapons. |
You gain its power but lose the ability to swim, so be careful around water and sea areas.
No, fruits are Natural, Elemental, or Beast, and each type plays very differently in combat. On top of type there is a rarity tier: Mythical (Dragon, Kitsune, Tiger, Dough, Venom) is the strongest group and sits above the normal types.
The level cap is 2600 (current version), reached by progressing through all Three Seas.
Blox Fruits is built around three systems that work together: Devil Fruits give you your power, weapons and fighting styles determine how you deal damage, and the Three Seas control your progression. Mastering how these systems interact (for example, using Aura to hit Elemental fruit users, or pairing a sword with a high-damage fighting style) is what separates strong players from average ones. Take your time in the First Sea to experiment with different fruits and builds before committing to an expensive endgame setup.
